Echinecea - suburban-garden

I run a very, very small plant nursery in my back garden: suburban-garden – a micro-nursery if you will and this is where I plan to post my thoughts on plants and share my garden updates.

Alcea rosea - suburban-gardenI’ve always been interested in plants and gardening. I still remember my first lavender plant I brought on the way back from a day out on the North Norfolk coast. And then the fun began once I realised how easy it was to propagate plants.

And since those early years of helping my parents out in their garden I am now responsible for creating my own garden oasis.

To me nothing is more beautiful than looking out of the window on a rainy day and resting my eyes on the colour and textures out in the garden. Even better is to walk through the fallen over lavender stems, hear the insects buzzing about and watch as plants come and go.
